Kenneth Shaw bought the Zanzibar in the early 1980's and traded from the East Coast
to the near continent but by the early 1990's Ken retired to Arlingham and sold the
Zanzibar to  Nigerian owners .
On 13th January 1996 Zanzibar sank alongside the quay at Apapa whilst being loaded.
